we love what we do

Cory Annis, MD

Dr. Annis is a dually boarded medicine and pediatrics physician. She founded Unorthodoc in 2015, initially as an offshoot of Carrboro Pediatrics and Internal Medicine where she worked for 16 years prior. She made the change because she wanted to provide a simpler, more direct and more personal approach to primary care after being frustrated by insurance's constraints and creation of consistent health care barriers.

"I love what I do. I always have and always will. Medicine is, first and foremost, a human endeavor, a relationship. It's my opportunity to serve as a witness to people's lives, a trust I take very seriously".
